FREE Money for Floyd Programs

9 02 2012

The Floyd Middle Magnet School PTSA wants to make you aware of some of the existing and new programs that we have to raise money for our school. There are several programs available to us that allow Floyd to receive cash, products and/or equipment. Some of these programs you may already know about and others we are just starting. Please take a look at the ones listed below and help us earn cash and products for our school. Some of these programs are automatic, some you sign up for and others are clip and save types. We have listed the website for each of these in case you have questions or contact the PTSA at floydmagnetptsa@gmal.com Thank you for your help.

Spirit Nights

These are set up periodically at various restaurants and fast food locations. A portion of the purchase price during the event is donated back directly to the PTSA at Floyd. Keep your eyes open for notices sent home announcing these Spirit night dates and locations. When you participate, you should advise the cashier that you are there for Floyd’s Spirit night.

Loyalty Cards

Publix Partners Card: Publix Partners program offers schools and non-profit organizations a great fundraising opportunity. By simply scanning the FMMS Publix Partners card before paying for your purchase at ANY Publix grocery store, Publix will donate a portion of your sale directly to our school. Don’t worry if you have more than one school to support, they will scan multiple cards for the same purchase. We are attaching cards to this flyer for you to begin using. If you need more, pick up a Publix Partner card in the school office or request one be sent home with your student.

Clip — Save — Send

  • Box Tops for Education: We all shop for groceries. Now turn your shopping trips into easy cash for FMMS. Just look for the Box Tops for Education logo on hundreds of products in almost every aisle of the store. All you need to do is clip the logos, check the expiration date, and send them to our school — each one is worth 10¢ for your child’s homeroom. Send these in a zip bag or on a collection sheet available from your child’s teacher. The funds received from your box top logos goes directly back to your child’s classroom for supplies that they need. Mrs. Cappadona manages this program and the next submission date must be postmarked by March 1st – so please send all that you have now so that we can begin bundling them for submission.
